I don't pretend to understand my fascination with him. But he's so CUTE! I think it's the ears.

I think I can pinpoint mine: he's really a fairly crudely drawn cat, practically just a sketch of a cat, but somehow Johnson makes him incredibly expressive -- and thoroughly catlike: like Quincy in Foxtrot, and sort of even like Bucky and Satchel in Get Fuzzy, he doesn't act like a cartoon cat, he acts like a cat. Of course, I also love the strip in general; Arlo and Janis might as well just be my parents.
