Short Update...

1) Christmas in Stillwater was in fact weird, not the least because I was sick, Mom was sick, Matthew was sick, and greydora was getting over being sick. That said, I did manage to see Richard for a bit and had breakfast with Loretta. So it was all good.

2) the trip to the Netherlands was by and large good, if exhausting. I do not recommend Amsterdam for New Years' if you aren't a fan of fireworks. See, it's not like the city throws a fireworks show. Oh no. Instead every person under the age of 30 goes out and buys their own aresnal. And shoots it off in the streets. Jacy took a spark from a misfire to the back of the head (she's fine), Josh's coat got singed, possibly in the same misfire or maybe from falling sparks, and Harry and I had one fall straight down between us when we were standing maybe 8" apart. Pictures forthcoming - I get them back from the developer on Thursday and then I'll scan the good ones.

3) Matthew is not in Texas like he was supposed to be. American Airlines succeeded in being really big assholes to him. End result: he didn't go to Texas.

4) I have much work to catch up on. And maybe some fic. :^P
