Watched Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets in anticipation of seeing Prisoner of Azkaban on Saturday morning. M was at a conference in VT, so I laid on the couch all evening watching Joan of Arcadia and then something else that I don't remember what it was. Oh, now I do. The last hour or so of A Knight's Tale. Someone should remind me to re-find the link to the manuscript image of the "real" Ulrich. It will make you laugh.
Saturday
Dragged M's ass out of bed in time to be at the theater an hour before the movie started. Totally did not need to be there that early, but we amused ourselves nonetheless. LovedLovedLOVED Alfonso Cuaron's version of the HPverse. Brilliant. Beautiful. Amazing. ( High points, slight spoilers ) OK, that was a little incoherent, but we'll deal. Watched the Belmont Stakes, which was a rather entertaining race (I don't really care one way or the other, but it would've been cool if Smarty Jones had won the Triple Crown, and I really thought he might until the very end), fell asleep before the end of the hockey game (OK, I fell asleep before the end of regulation).
Sunday
I stepped out of the house long enough to bring in the newspaper. And I napped. And read. And watched one helluva men's French Open final (MAN that was a good tennis match). And went to bed early. Oh yeah. The funny part is that M did the same thing, only he napped on a different schedule than me).
And now it's Monday again. Whoo. There's laundry outside drying. We have a Baronial business meeting tonight. And then I'm going to watch hockey. Tomorrow, M goes to DC for the rest of the week and then I'll meet him in Jersey for the wedding on Friday. Our lives are sooooo exciting.
