Thank you so much for posting those. Not being able to be there was quite painful, but it's beautiful to see how the art continues to progress. How did Matatias' judicial vs fabris fight go?

I don't recall off the top of my head - I'll ask him. He ended up winning two bouts and doubling a third (out of eight) but it was also the first time he'd seriously fought the new blade as a hand-and-a-half.

Does he do cut-and-thrust, or just rapier?

Remind him that the fechtbuchs just show the fundamentals, and that he's free to construct new sequences without violating the essence.

That's not just my opinion: it's the opinion of pretty much everybody doing western/european martial arts.
