A friend of mine had to take Prenisone for a massive allergic reaction (she'd bathed in foaming bath salts that turned out to have cucumber extract in them...she's allergic to *everything* in the cucumber family, including most melons and some tomato varieties). Her blood pressure soared, and she nearly got into a fist fight with someone at a local diner because of increased irritability.

I'd talk to my doctor about your problems with this drug. It's very, very powerful and can be quite nasty.
