You MUST wear jeans while mowing. Always. Your father was right. I still have nightmares about looking down and seeing my legs covered in sand hornets. Not that wearing jeans would have totally kept them off my eyes or arms, but it would have been helpful in general. The hotness sucks, but the extra layer between you and Things Which Are Pissed Off When You Mow is a good idea.
