Passover: The Drinking Game

For an enjoyable Seder, the following rules are a must:

  1. Every glass of wine must be at least 3.3 oz (98 cc's per Kosherquest.org).
  2. For the first two cups of wine, you must lean to the left. If you fail to lean to the left, you must re-drink without saying the prayer. (Also according to Kosherquest.)
  3. Every time Pharaoh is mentioned, drink.
  4. Every time Abraham is mentioned, drink.
  5. Every time the number "4" is mentioned, drink.
  6. Every time anything on the Seder plate (maror - bitter herbs, haroset - yummy sweet stuff, zeroa - roasted lamb, betzah - boiled egg, karpas - pasley) is mentioned, drink.
  7. Every time the Afikomen is mentioned, drink.
  8. Every time Elijah is mentioned, drink.
  9. Every time your name is mentioned, drink (bonus drinks for those with Old Testament names!)
  10. If you're drinking Maneschewitz, you must chug.
  11. If you're using Maneschewitz Jello shots instead of wine, each shot must contain at least 3.3 oz of wine.

And finally,

  • Every time Moses is mentioned, finish the bottle.*

It's a good thing we don't believe in hell.

*Moses is never actually mentioned by name in the Hagaddah. If you Hagaddah does mention his name, have a happy seder!

The mere idea of Maneschewitz Jell-O shots....

Bad girl! Bad girl! No zuzim for you!

So not my idea - it's all Ben's fault. Before he grew up and joined the
seder with the finger puppets and the drinking games, that's what he and
his friends did.

Troy's Iron Chef challenge for tomorrow is to make something potable with
the Maneschevitz.

I'm not sure that's possible....

If you put it in the charoset its not too bad, but not really good for a drinking game!
