sarahmichelefWestern Mass residents will probably be familiar with the personage of Dave Ratner, proprietor of Dave's Soda and Pet City. I loved to watch "Dave's Pet Show." Anyway, you can imagine our surprise when we were watching TV the other night and up pops Dave, advertising a local furniture store.
Buh?
We're not in Western Mass anymore... What is Dave doing on TV? We thought he was purely a local phenomenon?
So I did a little creative googling... The pet store chain is in fact local... stores in Agawam, Northampton, Hadley and Springfield. It appears, however, that Dave has another career... that of Dave Ratner Unleashed!. It seems that Dave is also teaching other entrepreneurs how to get the most bang for their buck by touring as a motivational speaker.
It still doesn't explain why he's appearing in commercians in Western NEW YORK, but at least it makes a little more sense.
