Wah.... pity me and my pathetic problems

greydora.) I have to teach, which means I need to dress decently for mid-80-degree weather.
I HAVE NO DECENT SHORT-SLEEVED SHIRTS!!!!! Well, no, I take that back, I have one, but it needed ironing, and I already had black pants on and I'm really trying very hard to get away from the white-shirt-black-pants-where'd-my-orchestra-go? look. And my 3/4-sleeve bias-cut linen shirt needs ironing, too. I have a handful of decent sleeveless numbers, which would be fine except that at 7:45 it's not warm enough to be sleeveless, and that's when I left the house (also, I'm not sure that most of them would fit in the bust right now...). Similarly, I'd love to be wearing sandals, but my toesies would have frozen this morning if I had.
WAHHHHHHH! Maybe I'll cash in my portion of our income tax return to go shopping... M already bought a new DVD player (progressive scan, not that we have an HDTV, and the more important digital out, to take advantage of the new receiver/amp that he got for his birthday), so I feel justified in going out and spending a little money on myself. (Incidentally, the Balrog's whip makes a really nifty sound that we'd never noticed while watching Fellowship on DVD before. Also the new amp & dvd player finally got us off our asses to watch all of LOTR on DVD, though we haven't perused bonus material yet. Maybe we'll do that tonight while I grade papers. Or maybe we'll watch Star Wars on DVD...)
