Notes on Life

1. EWWWWWW.... they grey sludge that inhabits the sink after washing out the vacuum cleaner filter is just plain GROSS.
   
   
   
   • We have been so stupidbusy that the house has not been properly cleaned in a very long time (hence the very full vacuum filter).
     
     
     ETA:
     
   • Bathrooms clean. Living room vacuumed. Guest room made up for in-laws this weekend. Upstairs bathroom mirror anti-fogged (thank you, Heloise!).
     
   • Laundry to be put away & more done tomorrow. Sheets & towels in dryer right now.
     
   
   
2. Midterms to grade. Whoo.
   
3. Big Red gum is not sugar-free. Who knew? *chews*
   
   
   
   • It also makes my tongue tingle in a funny way.
     
   
   
4. My daughter is a flirt.
   
5. Carpet estimate in. Is painful. Will visit le Home Despot tomorrow to get full details and hopefully reduce it a bit (by, say, suggesting that they could do some piecing in the hallway, etc.).
   
   
   
   • Why was buying a house a good idea, again?
     
   • Either we're getting used to it or the basement is starting to smell less.
     
   • The dehumid is still working overtime down there, though.
     
   
   
6. I'm not as dumb as I thought I was.
   
7. *So* looking forward to Passover, if only because we're having EXCITING COMPANY come visit us! Hooray!
   
8. *So* many birthdays right around this time. What were all of you people's parents doing having sex in June and July? Why not December, or April?
   
   
   
   • My parents are among the birthdays that are right around now. I leave it to you, gentle reader, to complete that thought, because if I do, I might dissolve into a puddle of squiffed-out.
