  1. When Joe goes to a spinning teacher seminar, expect a World Of Hurt the next class.  Like a really big legs don't work anymore OMG I can't go on world of hurt.  But you will feel very good afterwards.
  2. WW works if you do it seven days a week.  Not so much when you do it 3 or 4 days a week.  Duh.
    • BUT Campbell's Healthy Choice Chunky Clam Chowder is totally worth the points that it costs (which isn't many, actually).
    • AND I didn't stop and buy an iced capp - made coffee at home instead.
  3. The semester is nearly over...  three more lectures!  The parade of desperate students has begun.
  4. It's windy enough out there that even our road-sticky car was blowing around as I drove down the freeway.  There's recycling scattered all up and down the block.
  5. I am loving the overwhelming quantity of GAY on Project Runway this season.  And wondering what on earth planet Elisa is from.  Jack's outfit was gorgeous - loved the bias stripes on the shirt.  Super-classy.
    • Also loving every opportunity I get to taunt M about not being as rich as Tikki and Ronde Barber (with whom he shares a birthdate).
  6. Finally saw Tim Gunn's Guide To Style last week.  *love* just for the Timness of it.  I want to go bask in the Timness.
  7. Completely unprepared for the holidays.  Some gifts for the kiddo, none for anyone else.  I think I know what I'm doing for M but that's about it.  Ideas?  J's 30th birthday is in a week so we need to do extra-double-duty on that one!

I'm sure some of you (sid) will be aghast at the fact that The Road to Samarcand was the first Patrick O'Brian novel I have read.  I quite enjoyed it.

This right here is why Mike Huckabee might actually win the election.
