PR Finale, Part 1

OK, it was the finale.  They have collections, Tim has concerns.  Turtle poop was hilarious, Michael's family is charming, Harrison Detroit is adorable, and Miami is Miami.  Oh, and Laura's husband looks a bit like my advisor, which was amusing.

But oy.  The allegations and the fallout are looking worse than I initially thought.  I find myself very sympathetic towards Jeffrey.  He was clearly floored by the suggestion that he might not have sewn his garments.  I hopehopehope that the preview for next week was creative editing.  Hope.

As much as I really don't like Jeffrey and do like Laura, I have to say that the accusation did kind of floor me. I think that he's really driven to do this. He said that he was anticipating some kind of twist, so he wanted to be realdy way ahead of time. If Michael got his collection (basically) done and he only had one piece completed at Tim's visit, isn't it conceivable that Jeffrey could have completed to the hook and stitch, the whole thing. Especially since he was working NOT in his home, but in another, work-focused space. I know that I'd be much slower if I was being interrupted by the poop of lost turtles, etc.

Blown out of proportion to what actually happens, perhaps, but not blown out of proportion to Jeffrey. I don't like him, but I'm so nearly positive that his face last night wasn't "Oh, shit, busted" so much as being just absolutely *horrified* by the accusations. His face was the kid who is always bad and so the teacher blames stuff on him and he doesn't even bother arguing, even when (for once) he didn't do anything. He made me want to cry, and although I've loved Laura the whole season, I kind of hated her a little last night.
