Nothing much to say...

I feel like there is something I should be posting, but I'm also at a complete loss as to what it is was/is.
- Lovely baby shower for W&S today (heh, I just realized that they have the same first initials as my parents...), that was a lot of fun. First shower I'd been to as an adult - don't know what that says about anything. There was tasty, tasty fudge there. Fudge and pretzels. Yum.
- One week of the semester gone, students so far are entirely un-talkative, but that will change.
- We're running out of good non-reality TV. Can the strike be over soon, please?
- M is eating a chocolate chip cookie. Apparently he prefers that to the sugar cookies we made on Friday. Weirdo.
- My child hasn't napped in 3 days, and hasn't gone to bed particularly early, either. Spontaneous combustion may occur soon, on someone's part.
- My child also took it upon herself today to jump off of a play structure that is taller than she is. She bounced.
- I have a dilemma... I'm grinding my teeth again, but the night guard was making my gums sore & bleedy. Which mouth pain is worse?
- I am very nearly done reading World War Z. Somehow, I have yet to have any nightmares about the undead.
- M has finally seen Bend it Like Beckham. I was struck by how dated it seems despite being only five years old. Can't put a finger on exactly why, beyond the defunct-ness of WUSA soccer.
- Kirbyjon Caldwell endorsed Obama? SRSLY? KIRBYJON? Carleton '75 spoke at my graduation Kirbyjon Caldwell? Spiritual advisor to Pres. Bush Kirbyjon? Damn...
