If you don't already listen to WWDTM, you should. In particular, listen to "not my job" from last week's show. It features the most mainstream famous person they've ever had for that game - Tom Hanks. (Yes, they really are pushing The DaVinci Code in all possible arenas...) And yeah... it's funny. Great moments in self-deprecating comedy from Paula Poundstone, too.

I loooove when Paula Poundstone is on. The show always cracks me up, but I find her particularly hilarious.

I put my name in to be on the show a couple of weeks ago. I even said how I get stared at at the gym because I listen to the podcast while I work out. They haven't called me yet. :^/

i called or emailed (sometimes both) every week for about 2 years before they called me. so keep trying!

d00d! Tom Hanks won Carl Kassel's voice on the answering machine of a woman from Springfield, VT! That's where Alex is from, and since it's a small podunk town, he gets excited when he hears of non-shitty things happening in or coming from there. Whoo!
