alphasarah &
baronessmartha's take on the season finale of Grey's Anatomy, in convenient list form:

- George is an idiot for not physically preventing Izzy from cutting the LVAD wires.
- Cristina and Izzy are emotionally retarded. Burke would be far better off sleeping with McDreamy. BM suggests that she could then sleep with Addison. I suggest that Cristina and Addison should hook up. Burke is far too good for Cristina; Denny is far too good for Izzy.
- A flatline is a flatline is a flatline. If there are paddles, you were dead.
- Is Addison a neonatologist, a perinatologist, or a regular OB/Gyn? She can be the last 2 at the same time, but not all 3 at once.
- There are only 2 nurses in Seattle Grace Hospital: Olivia and that chick that Alex slept with.
- Meredith has a big thing to hang over the chief's head. Go, Meredith.
- Preston makes Cristina be an adult. Go, Preston!
- George is suddenly NOT emotionally retarded. Go, George!
- uhoh.... McDreamy is looking at her again. Poor Finn. We like Finn (even if he makes us think of Batman movies). (subpoint: love the music during the sex scene. Very sultry.)
- Why didn't anybody come running when Denny died for like the eleventybillionth time this episode? Is Seattle Grace so low-tech that they don't have monitors at the nurse's station?
- Callie is in "the family" now. And so is Alex. We are impressed that Alex was miraculously NOT an enormous asshole.
- You can draw out some interesting parallels between Meredith and Derek and Meredith's mom and the chief.

'Course, I think that's a false dichotomy, and that in real life you go for the wonderful sweet guy who isn't married already, but y'know. I'm just speakin' from hard-won experience here. :)
