Oh, the comedy...

sarahmichelefI'm not sure exactly when That 70s Show jumped the shark (probably about when Eric and Donna got engaged), but last night one of my favorite episodes EVER was on, the one that reminded me that when that show was really firing on all cylinders, it was HILARIOUS. The episode being, of course, the one where Bob sends Donna to Catholic school, which I have since learned was entitled "I Can't Quit You Babe". Because really, you can't have too many Catholic schoolgirl jokes in one episode.
Incidentally, the last episode, which I will freely admit to watching, was pretty good. Eric and Kelso came back (if the show didn't jump the shark when he & Donna got engaged, it DEFINITELY did when Topher Grace the Ashton Kutcher left), it was New Year's Eve 1979. The show ended with Eric saying "Last one upstairs has to call Red a dumbass." Everyone scrambles to get up the stairs; Kelso loses. The last action you see is Kelso grabbing the "stupid helmet" as he runs up the stairs and then you hear everyone counting down to the New Year. I thought it was quite appropriate.
