Produce misadventures

So last week I bought some not-quite-ripe pears, with the intention of letting them ripen and then eating them. This morning I felt them and they were ripe, so I pulled one out of the bag to take in my lunch. Noticed that it had a bruise where it had been sitting on the counter and the bruise was getting moldy. Ewwww! Into the trash it went. The second one I pulled out of the bag had the same problem. Ewwww! Fortunately, the third one had only the bruise, no nasty growing things. It was a very sad loss of yummy things, though. :^(

Product Review: Schick Intuition Razor

So a couple of weeks ago there was a coupon for a free Schick Intuition razor. I'm a sucker for a free toy, so I got one. I even got one that came with a free pedicure kit! (Which actually probably wasn't covered by the coupon, but the Stop & Shop chick forced the system to accept it, so...) ( This morning was its first test run. )

So yeah. Not worth the money, by any stretch of the imagination. But hey, I got a free pedicure kit!
