Technology Rant

Here in the beginning of the 21st century, we have a lot of really fabulous technology. Nearly instant global communication. The X-Prize has been won. Hybrid and coming-soon fuel cell vehicles. And yet we cannot do two things:

1) Make a damned low-flow toilet that actually WORKS.
2) Come up with a way to get a Butterfinger Bar out of a vending machine without breaking it.
