Sep. 8th, 2005 09:39 amThe Internet is being stupid today... blogger won't load and I want to make it so that I can't get comment spam... and LJ is being very slow, too.
I got my first fencing bruise in 14 months last night. Whoohoo!
Going to our first event in the Hale on Saturday. It's an RP/HP. There's an A&S comp and display - I'll probably compete - and fencing. Maybe I'll even review the current Aethelmearc rules and authorize... M is planning to. We're ditching court on the theory that we don't know anybody here yet and there are reportedly going to be peerages, which means it will be looooong. Also feast, which makes me sad 'cause it's Indian. But we are NOT feasting with TRex, no matter how good she is.
Went to central PA for a wedding last weekend. Central PA is a weirdweird place. But we did go to the outlets; both of us got new jeans, M got new shoes (which were desperately needed...), and we got a dustbuster and a some little tools (on sale 3 for $5) at the Black & Decker outlet. We'll have to make another outlet trip (maybe when M's parents are here for TRex's birthday in TWO AND A HALF WEEKS OMG!!!!!!) because that child is outgrowing everything we got as hand-me-downs from K&M's kiddos.
Joss Stone's voice should NOT come out of a cute 18-year-old British girl. She should be doing bubblegum pop. Not that I'm complaining, just that it's a bit ... incongruous, that's the word I'm looking for.
