Not something I'd care to repeat...

Remember how I was excited because M and I were going out to a party last night?  Yeah, we didn't go.  See, the weather was SO ATROCIOUS that we didn't want to be driving.  I drove to pick up James in complete white-out conditions - I actually STOPPED in the middle of an expressway offramp because I couldn't see 2 feet in front of my face.  The last time I drove in conditions that bad was 10 years ago, coming back to Northfield from dropping greydora off at MSP.  I was driving Rick Fonte's car...

So yeah.  It took me nearly an hour round-trip, though about 10-15 minutes of that time was waiting for our pizzas.  M and I decided NOT to brave the trip downtown - instead James & TRex played legos while we did some work around the house that we can't do when she's underfoot, and then the three of us hung out and chatted for a while.

And now we're under a wind chill advisory, which lasts until Tuesday morning.  Hooray!
