Good things...

• My students finished their exams in the time allotted.  Scores on the MC/TF portion were OK; essay scores are decent so far (halfway done grading those).
• I'm already halfway done grading their essays!
• TRex was disgustingly cute in the car on the way to school this morning.
• Had a Valentine's lunch with M today.  Nothing fancy, sandwiches by campus, but it was a pleasant change.
• Then I sat in the very homey faculty lounge at Canisius and graded essays.  When I walked back to the car it was just below freezing - cold enough that my nose tingled, that by the end of the couple of blocks that spot right behind my ears was a little cold and I almost wanted my hat.
• Gym... good.  Chest presses seemed harder than usual, but I did 3 sets of 15 without too much struggle.
• Dinner...  chiles rellenos casserole, which is yummy.  Playdough play with TRex, then a couple of games of memory and a couple more of Elefun, and off to bed she went.

And now I'm posting here and then I'm going to go mop the bathrooms & the kitchen.  It's an exciting life I lead.
