two things

1) After talking to Henry at Apple, I'm going to take Eloisa to the Apple Store so that they can actually witness the problem rather than me trying to describe it over the phone. So that's what I'll be doing instead of working out. Joy. But at least I can go and fondle the technology.
1a) I was very annoyed that they didn't even boot up the machine and check if the problem was gone, and then I realized that I hadn't disabled the little application that masks the problem, so it's not entirely their fault that they didn't catch the failed repair. D'oh.
2) OMG Extreme Glee! Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny.
3) Project Runway. Hooray, Angela is gone. I think Laura's dress was my favorite - she's so damn classy. I want to be that classy when I grow up. And the beginnings of baby #6 showing was brilliant, too. Michael's outfit was hott (the shirt was so visually interesting, I loved it), and Jeffrey totally deserved to win. He may be an ass, but he's an ass who knows how to dress rock-n-roll, although the studded crotch was a bit much.

Date: 2006-09-01 04:06 pm (UTC)Episode 1: Trash The Apartment. Winner: Keith.
Episode 2: Miss USA. Winner: Kayne.
Episode 3: Pooches. Winner: Ulli.
Episode 4: Macy's Challenge. Winner: Angela with Laura and Michael.
Episode 5: Fashion icons. Winner: Michael.
Episode 6: Recycling. Winner: Michael.
Episode 7: Everyday Woman. Winner: Vincent. (I can't believe I had to look that one up.)
Episode 8: Jet Setter. Winner: Jeffrey.
So no, Laura hasn't won yet. At this point I sort of expect her to be the sleeper in the final three - get there without winning a challenge. I think it'll be her, Michael, and Ulli in the final 3, with Jeffrey 4th. Wow, putting it that way makes the end of the season seem really, really close!
