Gave up on iJournal.  I'm spoiled by rich text editing.  Don't make me look at raw HTML, people!  Unlike many others, I'm not annoyed by the new web interface.  At least it knows that I'm me (see my complaints last week) and lets me edit rich text.

I forgot to make the proclamation that any of my friends who are expecting should not tell me so that I don't have to spend the next N months worrying about them and their future offspring.  Carls who read Caucus will probably know why I'm saying this now.  I'm happy and all that, but now I get NINE WHOLE MONTHS to worry.  Yay.

Far too many things to do before Saturday and far too little time to do them in.  Some simply aren't going to get done.  M cleaned the bathrooms tonight, which I had not managed to get to this week.  I'm OK with that.  Tomorrow I'll mop all the moppable floors.  And work on the one gift that I'm making - which won't be completely done, but will be close enough and the bits that aren't done will be sent along after the holidays.  And bake three loaves of cranberry bread.  It's ok that I'm not going to think about "real" work until after the first of the year, right?

Oh, and welcome [profile] kass_rants to the madness.  I found that she had an account a while back, but she never used it - don't know if she'd even been reading.  But now she's crawled out of the woodwork, if only to pimp her new website.

But did I mention that the butterscotch squares came out perfectly?  The pictures are here.  I think I may have a new hobby - photographing food as I make it.  Food photography is fun.  Lots of macro opportunities, which I like.

I really need to be sure to get to the gym tomorrow.  It will help my sanity.

Oh, and my car now has a new windshield.  I'm grumbly about the timing of the crack's growth, but now it's done and we hopeandpray that the $$ we put into it to get it to pass muster this year will last more than one inspection cycle.

I can't think of any others. And the timing certainly works out.
