Last night as we were doing bedtime stories, she was very persistenlty asking for "farthole abride" (except it wasn't farthole... I just can't remember exactly what it was).  We could NOT figure out what she was saying and everyone was getting a little frustrated with the process.  And then, M suddenly sat up and declared, "Farkle McBride!"  Which is, of course, what she was asking for.

She's taken Farkle McBride to bed with her every night this week, and we read David Gets In Trouble and David Goes To School almost every day.

We still have to do that with L.X when he tells stories about school. It's funny how you listen and concentrate and then once you stop trying so hard, it falls into place.
