Did everyone else picture Kate Winslet and that other actress from Heavenly Creatures while reading this? (I know, they were from New Zealand. But still.)

I'm curious about what "kind" of girls they were... whether they belonged to any social subgroup, i.e. preppy or goth or what. I mean, obviously they have antisocial personality and most people in any group don't. But... yeah, I'm curious.
