Ugh - too bad that you react to it that way. I really hate being on prednisone for exactly that reason - I get hyper and anxious and weepy and can't sleep. Luckily, at least the level of crazy drops off as the dosage does.
The last time I was on it, my hives came back after the drugs were gone - I was pretty unhappy about going back on the pills, so the NP gave me a vat of steroid cream instead that worked very nicely. Presumably not helpful for lung stuff, but I'm really glad to know about it for decrazifying future skin-funk issues.
yeah, I was pretty amused to be GETTING hives from a drug that's supposed to CURE them. Today I am hive- and itch-free, thankfully. Of course, after VERY CAREFULLY putting my pills in my purse last night, I took them out at some point this morning and didn't put them back and now I will have to double up at dinnertime tonight.
