It's beautiful out.  I could simply not justify staying inside to exercise... instead I went out and did a steeplechase through the puddles and muck of our neighborhood.  I could have sworn I was out more than 20 minutes, but I wasn't.  On the other hand, I ran 1.5 miles in those 20 minutes.  For a first time out in the real world (rather than the elliptical or the treadmill) not bad at all.  I actually much prefer running in the real world to the treadmill.  Like, a whole lot.

Now I need to shower because our March of Dimes kickoff party is tonight and I smell like running funk.
