I just got a call from Elizabeth in customer relations who wanted to chat with me about the letter I sent yesterday.  She says that there definitely is a "training opportunity" at that store and that  they will honor recalls for ever and ever and the employees have LOTS of resources at their disposal to confirm the recall status of a product.

So yay.

wahoo!

I really, really want to like Target, so I'm happy to see their quick response.

(I know I know, big box stores. But also, there are no non-big-box options locally for so much stuff. I need one I can feel good shopping at.)

two things...

1) tell them to throw in a free wii and you'll forget about the whole "training opportunity."

2) not trying to start a discussion here, but don't feel bad about big box merchants my friend. i work for one and yknow what? the small mom and pop places in the same field in the same town don't offer things like health insurance or vacation time or sick time

so not all big box merchants are teh evil
