That felt good...
Nov. 1st, 2005 09:34 amLately my back has been really bugging me... I spend so much time on the floor playing with TRex, hauling her around, etc. that it's not great for the spine.
I haven't formally taken yoga since spring 2004; I stopped taking classes in order to save the money for Oxford, and then I didn't want to saddle Amy with having to spend extra time with me to modify what the class was doing for a rapidly growing pregnant lady (and actually, at the same time, she stopped teaching through LSSE). And I haven't practiced with any regularity since TRex was born. Anyway, this morning I actually made the time to do a couple of sun salutations, and it felt GREAT. I have ZERO flexibility left... my downward dog was pathetic - I couldn't even get my heels down on the first one, and I can't get my chest to my legs in a forward bend... but all of that will come back if I even practice for 10 minutes or so a couple of days a week. We'll have to see if TRex thinks playing with mama while she does funny poses on the floor is a good game.
