sarahmichelefTooth is fixed. Appointment made for early next month to get a cleaning because I haven't had one in far too long.
But, because this is me, the appointment could not go forth without drama. In this particular case, the drama was that they had no record whatsoever of me having made the appointment. Not just listed in the wrong place, not entered in one place but not another. Just nonexistent. Apparently they have a new receptionist who is ... not entirely competent. Or at least that's the impression I got. Had it just been a case of "we had you down for such-and-thus date and time" I would have been a little bit willing to believe that I had me who messed it up. But I certainly didn't hallucinate making the appointment, so I'm quite confident that it was their screw-up.

Date: 2006-05-19 01:58 pm (UTC)But since it's just the lower portion of a front tooth, they can work on it with no novacaine, so possible tragic combinations of numb mouth and sticky food were avoided. Also because we don't keep peanut butter in the house.
