Through a rather convoluted chain of links, I ended up at this EW column that includes readers writing in about the most embarrassing DVD they own.

So, what's yours?  :^D

(We don't own *that* many DVDs, so I'd have to say ours would be the box set of Wayne's World and Wayne's World 2, which we got free with our new DVD player.)

My most embarrassing DVDs are:
The Sci Fi Channel's productions of *Dune* and *Children of Dune* for obvious reasons; and
*Y Tu Mama Tambien* which is actually an excellent film but definitely not the sort of thing I could watch with family or probably even any friends due to rampant monkey sex. I would blush the whole way through. I already made the mistake of putting on *The Big Lebowski* for my parents. I love that movie; but watching it with them was very twitchy.

Yeah, we once decided it would be a good idea to show Fargo to my parents and GRANDFATHER. What were we thinking? Actually, it wasn't even our idea, it was my aunt's idea. But she's more hip to pop culture than my parents are, and they were just not into the whole comical gratuitous violence thing. I thing Grandpa fell asleep.

Coen Brothers movies should not be watched inter-generationally, I think. :^D

Amusingly, my in-laws like Coen Brothers films and we discuss them. There are many *Raising Arizona* quotes thrown around the dinner table. But my in-laws are a special people.

Up between Sci-Fi's DUNE (which isn't higher because I got it for like 5$) and "The Jan Dvorak Story" which is... you know... um... porn.

May I just say how amused I am that both you and relentlesstoil listed Dune?

The DVD my uncle made from the video tape of my performance of a movement from Mozart's Clarinet Concerto in the 9th grade.

Never watched the tape, won't watch the DVD.
