OK, I have a dilemma. It goes like this.
I have a 1G MacBook Pro and I upgraded to Leopard in January. I did not buy iLife '08 with Leopard - I'm still running the iLife apps that came with my Tiger install CDs. When restored those after wiping & installing Leopard, however, I neglected to restore iDVD. Now I need to get at an iDVD project, so I want to reinstall the application. I tried just dropping the Tiger DVD that came with the machine in, but the only option is to erase & install (because it'd be a downgrade) and you can't deselect the OS portion of the install then. Any ideas as to how to get the app off of that DVD?

2. Look up the program Pacifist (at http://www.charlessoft.com/) and use it to peer inside the installer package on your Tiger CD for the iDVD installer, pull it out that way. I did that with the parts of iLife 08 I needed, since only wanted one or two of the apps at that time.
3. If all else fails, someone (Hi!) could put the app on an FTP server or something and you could pull it from there.
I mean, hey. A question I have an answer for? Wow. :)
