We are pre-reg'd for Pennsic (have been for a while) and today my fabulous mother spent goodness knows how long and how many dollars on the Delta website figuring out plane tickets to transport the kid and her accompanying adults to/from Camp Grammy.  This was perhaps more complicated than it could have been, but we have applied our multiple advanced degrees and all our smarts to the problem and conquered it.  I will fly to OK with the kiddo on Saturday and return at oh-geez-o'clock Sunday morning (we will be renting a car so as to save my folks two round-trips to the airport in under 24 hours), scheduled to be back home around noon, which means that we will be on site and all set up by dinnertime on Sunday (M will probably pick me up at the airport with the car all loaded and ready to go).  Mom & TRex will fly back here the next Sunday and Mom will stay 'til Wednesday morning.

Whew.  How long 'til the kid can fly as an unaccompanied minor?  ;^)

ETA: Our house will once again be available as crash space for folks taking the northern route route to Pennsic. We are, according to Google Maps, exactly 3 hours from the Currie Road/422 intersection, and at most 10 minutes off of the Thruway.

Anytime that we're home (which would include Friday night). You'd even get to see The Kiddo - though all of us will be getting up Quite Early on Saturday morning to get to our 6am flight to Camp Grammy.

Weetie and I will be making the pilgrimage on 7/26/08 this year. We'd love to be a burden... I mean would like to be your guests again. I'll bring the Asiago cheese bagels again.
