Saturday night...

sarahmichelefWhat I had planned to do: cook zucchini-carrot kugel for consumption later in the week.
What I'm actually doing: eating popcorn, surfing the interwebz, watching the gold medal men's soccer game. Next up: some hand-sewing.
Today was a lovely, pleasant day. TRex and I lolled about in bed watching PBS from 6:30 until 8, had breakfast, got both of us clean and ran errands. (Bonus: I have found the closest thing to the perfect bag yet (only in khaki, not hot pink). It's big enough to carry all the stuff I want, but doesn't feel huge & cumbersome when it's mostly empty. Ideally, I wanted something more structural that that, but structural things don't magically shrink when they're mostly empty.) kiersey & N's party where there was soooo much food, and fun people to chat with and lots of kids for TRex to run around with. Headed home from there when we reached the point of total meltdown at the slightest provocation, had a little rest, and then made fruit salad for dinner after which we played pool (with her new dolphin goggles, of course - she was devastated that I wouldn't let her wear them to bed) and watched some olympics.
