It amazes me (or disappoints me that I'm not amazed) that such things (20+ minutes of coherent writing) are no longer taken for granted. It seems that we did this kind of thing in school all of the time. And we were expected to be coherent with good points and everything. It was just part of school, high school. Then again I didn't have to navigate nearly so complex a world. Perhaps its more a matter of the competition than one of "what's the matter with kids today." Hmm, perhaps I should reexamine my inner-self for excessive "old crotchety person" content.
