So there's some interference going on between our HD antenna and our cable. And the only channel that it affects is ESPN2. Y'know, ESPN2 which is currently carrying the Côte d'Ivoire vs. Nederland match. I can get the picture, but it's a line-y and I can't necessarily tell where things like, say, the BALL are. So it's not so useful.
Tomorrow, though, US vs. Italy. If only our ABC station weren't complete hosers who point their HD signal in the opposite direction from our house. (We categorically cannot get ABCs HD signal in. Period. Damn, now I wish M had ordered us digital cable.) Ah well, I'll survive. We'll probably be at the pool with TRex at that point of the afternoon, anyway.
ETA: I'm smrt. I decided that I should disconnect the antenna from the tv so that I could actually see the football match. And as I was standing there injuring my fingers trying to unscrew the bleepin' thing, it occurred to me: the HD antenna is powered. Turned it off, et voila. We have a nice, clear picture. Whoohoo!
ETA2 : It's 2006, not 2004. *headdesk*
