It's a sign...
Apr. 27th, 2006 03:54 pmI'm not sure what it's a sign OF, but my UMass mailbox blew quota this morning. I'm notoriously bad about deleting things and I only get 30 mb and my students this semester are e-mailing me a lot of stuff... It's not as bad as when I was getting 500-page book manuscripts as attachments, but there were a lot of powerpoint files sitting in my inbox.
It's better now, though. Offloaded all course-related e-mails to my hard drive, deleted a TON of stuff, downloaded pictures of
peregrinning and
a_c_fiorucci's kid and the ones that
sprirtwolf sent me after passover and the ones of my friend Kara's wedding and the ones of my friends V&B's kids... You get the idea. The stuff, it adds up.
(Which reminds me that one of my projects for tomorrow needs to be backing up the new computer.)
Went to the gym for the first time in nearly a month today. That was lovely. Came home, found that the copy of Happiest Toddler on the Block we ordered had arrived. Soon I will speak neanderthal.
And so on... Our potential playdate for Saturday fell through, but we have the MoD walk on Sunday to look forward to, and the weather's supposed to not suck (60 and partly cloudy is the latest I've heard).
Thank goodness tomorrow's Friday.
