Why Jews are Crazy

Kosherquest.org should be enough of an illustration for you.
See, we were trying to plan our menu for seder tomorrow night, and K was wondering why I had nixed a carrot dish that had wheat germ and oatmeal in it. She did a little creative googling, and found the person we are now calling Crazy Jewish Man. (Here's the Passover guide.)
(This site has been amusing us for a good couple of hours now.)
baronessmartha, just for you, midshipman (which apparently is a kind of fish) is NOT kosher. Jewfish, however, is.
Stay tuned for Passover: the drinking game. (To be developed tomorrow night as we all drink our four at least 3.3 oz glasses of wine, during which M & T & B will all lean to the left, lest they have to go back and start over, without the Brocha.)

And before I forget, Happy Passover, and may TRex learn to eat her horseradish in a nice Hillel sandwich instead of taking a quarter-sized heap on a piece of matzoh and shoving it in her mouth the way this silly little shikseh did back in 1975. My late mother, damn her eyes), laughed and told me that I looked exactly like Wile E. Coyote about the time the Road Runner set off the dynamite under his feet.....

Date: 2006-04-12 01:10 pm (UTC)Kinda wonder what were having for dinner tonight. They actually keep kosher and live a house provided by the synagogue and she's a vegetarian!

Date: 2006-04-13 02:00 pm (UTC)We did end up having a pretty normal dinner though, brisket and (eww) turkey. It was from a caterer, but her mother said it wasn't that she was hosting Passover but the fact that she actually ordered meat that was the accomplishment. Will right about the synagogue in a separate entry though since its pretty cool.
