Oh how I <3 Apple.  We all know this.  My case of iPhone Lust is well-documented.  But really, the iPod Touch is much more my speed.  Here's why.  Even before anybody develops native word processing and so on for it, there's enough free WiFi running around the world at this point that you could do work on Google docs and the like without having to use up precious storage space on the device itself.  It really does have the potential to serve as an ultraportable computer - no, not with all the functionality of a "desktop replacement" notebook, but on the other hand, the iPod would fit in my purse.

I have a Palm T|X and it does most of that stuff. I know it's not as snazzy or cool, but it was also a good deal cheaper! Of course, if you're into Apple just in principle, it doesn't fulfill those urges. :)
